FEM. FATALE
'FEM. FATALE' is a women's wear brand concept I designed for the final major project of my Fashion Design & Marketing degree at Northumbria University. The project won the prestigious 'Fashion Marketing Award' at Graduate Fashion Week 2016.

The FEM. FATALE brand is aimed at young, feisty, feminist women who want a brand that connects with their political and social views. The rise in popularity of new wave feminism has come on in leaps and bounds in the past few years and doesn't show signs of halting: Tampon tax, 'Free The Nipple', sexual consent and harassment, body positivity and girl gang power are all themes that FEM. FATALE's debut collection takes inspiration from.
The brand is heavily print based and features new-wave feminist imagery such as tampons, contraceptive pills, female genitalia, feminist slogans and tough-girl placements.
By wearing and purchasing FEM. FATALE clothing, the brands customers are not only creating a discussion point through the bold garment graphics, but directly helping to raise money for empowering charities.
